First Totally Endoscopic Mitral Valve Repair at Jefferson

Congratulations to Dr. Sloane Guy for performing the first robotic totally endoscopic mitral valve repair at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital today. This is a new dawn for Jefferson’s historic heart surgery program —where modern open heart surgery began on May 6, 1953. Dr. John H. Gibbon, Jr. would be very proud!
