My name is Dr. Raymond Singer. This is my personal website and not my hospital’s website. All of the views expressed are my views only and not the views of my hospital. I’ve created my website with a few purposes in mind.

  1.  Provide information about my background, philosophy, and practice as a cardiothoracic surgeon.
  2. Educate patients and their friends and family about heart and lung surgery.
  3. Give information about my consulting firm, Singer Heart/Lung Consulting.

I hope you enjoy my site and pass it on to your family and friends!

About Me

I have been in practice since 1992 and have, to date, performed over 8,351 surgeries! My practice interests include complex valve, coronary and aneurysm surgery, as well as prevention and treatment of lung cancer.

I could not say enough about Dr. Singer the human and the amazing surgeon he is. We love you and are fortunate to know you . Thank you for another successful surgery. My mother in law got an Aortic Valve replacement and a Mitral Valve repair among other things that were wrong . Thank you for giving her another chance to enjoy life and her grandchildren .

Testimonials

“You have made my father’s open heart surgery a confident, comfortable operation. I just wanted to say thanks for all that you have done, you’ve saved his life along with our feelings and emotions.  the bears are wonderful! Thanks for everything we will always remember you and the tremendous work you have done for our father.  There will always be a place for you in our hearts!”

- Kristin and Samantha Novitski

“Dr. Singer saved my father’s life. In spite of my father’s age of 90, and in spite of a perioperative MI, which altered my father’s chances, Dr. Singer went ahead and performed two bypasses…. What makes Dr. Singer so special is that he…has wonderful human qualities. He exudes caring and concern for his patients and instills confidence. He has a human touch that heals more than pure medicine.”
