This patient had no symptoms. However, he had many risk factors for coronary artery disease, specifically, a family history, many years of smoking, plus diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia.
Thankfully, he went to his doctor to get evaluated and treated. He needed urgent open-heart coronary artery bypass surgery. He is going home on postoperative day four, feeling well and with no pain.
