This 55-year-old patient from Ocala, Florida, had a strong family history of coronary artery diseaseโbut very few warning signs. In many cases like hers, heart disease can be silentโฆ until itโs not.
Fortunately, she was diagnosed in time and underwent urgent coronary artery bypass surgery using bilateral internal mammary arterial graftingโone of the most durable and effective techniques we have. Just five days later, sheโs heading home feeling strong, grateful, and full of life.
