Diabetes and Coronary Artery Disease

With permission from my patient to post, this avid Philly sports fan suffered bilateral foot and leg amputations due to complications from diabetes. In addition, his diabetes resulted in diffuse multi-vessel coronary artery disease, requiring a quadruple coronary artery bypass operation.
