One Month After Surgery

People often ask, “How long until I’m fully recovered from open-heart surgery?” Here is a patient who is now approximately 6 weeks after her second-time, re-operative aortic valve surgery. She is driving a car and back to normal physical activities, with no pain. Her wound has healed beautifully and is hardly noticeable.
 
Since I have relocated my cardiac surgery practice to Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital in 2019, I am honored that so many patients from the the Lehigh Valley have chosen to follow me here for their care.
