It’s official! Below is the write-up welcoming me to my new home at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery as of 3/1/2019. I am both honored and excited to embark upon this new chapter!
“Raymond Singer, MD, appointed Chief, Cardiothoracic Surgery at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery.
Dr. Singer joins Einstein from the medical staff at Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN). During his 27-year tenure at LVHN, he most recently served as the Physician in Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Vice Chair of Quality and Patient Safety for the Department of Surgery.
Dr. Singer is a highly accomplished board-certified cardiac surgeon, who has completed more than 7,000 heart and lung operations.
He completed both his General Surgery and Cardiothoracic residencies at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania, along with the George W. Householder, III Memorial Prize for Clinical Cardiovascular Research. He also has a Master of Medical Management (MMM) from Carnegie Mellon University and a Certified Physician Executive (CPE) certificate.
He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Thoracic Surgery, the American College of Cardiology, and the American College of Chest Physicians, and the past President of the Pennsylvania Association for Thoracic Surgery and past President of the Lehigh County Medical Society.
