You’re Never Too Old to Build a Healthier Heart

“You’re never too old to become healthier. Every workout, every healthy choice, and every step forward is an investment in the years you still have to live…and the people you love to share them with.”
Raymond L. Singer, MD

Today wasn’t about lifting the heaviest weights or setting any records.

It was simply about showing up.

As a heart surgeon, I’ve spent my career helping people after heart disease develops. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to appreciate even more that the greatest gift we can give ourselves is trying to prevent it in the first place.

Age isn’t a reason to stop taking care of yourself. In many ways, it’s the best reason to start.

No matter where you are in life, it’s never too late to become a little stronger, a little healthier, and a little kinder to your heart. Just keep showing up, one day at a time.

❤️ Take care of the only heart you’ll ever have.
