One of the most common questions I hear from patients over 50 is, โWhatโs the best exercise I can do?โ
My answer is often simpler than they expectโฆ walking.
You donโt need extreme workouts or complicated routines to improve your health. Consistent, low-impact movement can have a powerful effect on your heart, your weight, your blood pressure, and even your mental well-being.
As a cardiac surgeon, Iโve seen firsthand how small, sustainable habits can make a meaningful difference over time.
Start with 20โ30 minutes a day. Make it part of your routine. And most importantly, stick with it.
Sometimes the simplest choices are the ones that matter most.
