What You Can Expect
With permission from my patient to share, using Zoom Tele-Visits allow patients to receive consultations as well as follow-up visits and post-operative care from home.
I can also share my desktop screen and show their x-rays and cardiac catheterization films, or show them educational materials and videos from my website.

With permission from Mr. Lynn Sheehan and his family to post, this picture of my laptop screen shows Mr. Sheehan meeting online with my physician assistant, Christine Kindler and me. Mr. Sheehan is at his home in Dallas, PA, 119 miles north of Philadelphia!
This “virtual consultation” allows us to discuss his upcoming surgery and review with him and his family his cardiac catheterization films, TEE, CT Scans, and x-rays, online and in real-time, on their personal computer at home —all private and HIPAA protected.
Technology is a wonderful thing —especially when it is used to help patients get the information and care they need to make important health decisions.
