Heart Disease in the United States

American Heart Association Heart Walk

Throughout the year, I try to post videos about patients’ experiences to help educate all of us on various forms of heart disease that affect us in the United States. One thing is for sure, heart disease is on the rise in the U.S.

Did you know that approximately 700,000 people die of heart disease in the United States every year? That’s 1 in every 5 deaths!
Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) is the most common type of heart disease, killing approximately 400,000 people annually.

Every year about 800,000 Americans have a heart attack. Of these, 600,000 are a first heart attack.

Please help save lives and donate to our AHA Philadelphia Heart Walk campaign today! Please click the link below to donate and join us on Saturday, November 4 at Citizen’s Bank Park.

Thank you in advance for your generous donations.
