Seven Healthy Snacks

One of the fallouts from the pandemic is that chicken wings are in short supply, thus the price of ordering a platter of fried chicken wings, french fries, and a beer will now easily set you back $25.

Below is a picture of seven non-starchy carbohydrate snacks that I bought totaling $23. No doubt the snacks below are healthier than fried chicken wings and will last me easily a week or more.

Non-starchy carbohydrate snacks, such as peppers, cucumber, beets, cauliflower, mushrooms, celery, and romaine lettuce are filled with fiber and water, and represent “good carbs.”

If you’re struggling to lose the pandemic weight that you gained, make sure you snack on these healthy seven carbs instead of junk food. Along with drinking plenty of water, getting exercise, and sleep, you’ll be well on your way to healthier days ahead.
