“Be compassionate, show empathy, and be generous to others, even in the face of great challenges. These are the guideposts of a life well-lived.”
One year ago, I joined the team at Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital. I wish to thank the nurses, physician assistants, staff, and most of all, the patients throughout the community where I grew up, for welcoming me back home.
Special thanks to the leadership at Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital for believing in me. To my cardiology colleagues for your support and skill. To my partners, Alexandra and Lou for your guidance and friendship. To my APPs and office staff for your tireless work. To my incredible cardiac anesthesiologists, perfusion professionals, and O.R., Cath Lab, and ICU teams.
And most of all, to my family and friends, who supported my decision to make this important change in my career… a decision that may have seemed unbelievable to some, but was very clear to me.
Blessings and thanks.
